The new old-fashioned
The New Old-Fashioned is a rock & roll band from Dayton, OH. Formed in 2011, The New Old-Fashioned fuses rock and roll and country with choral harmonies and Midwestern themes to deliver music that is evocative and unique. This is the second appearance by the band at Tippapalooza, with their 2017 performance marking the year that Tippapalooza began to focus on highlighting original music from around the Dayton area.

The Tyler Cochran Trio sets out to combine the soul of the blues, mentality of jazz and attitude of rock into an experience that leaves you humming their tunes long after the music has stopped. Hailing from the Gem City of Dayton, Ohio the Tyler Cochran Trio began as a side project in 2014 and has evolved into Tyler’s main endeavor. The band’s sound harks back to the power trios of yesteryear while keeping things fresh with catchy choruses and engaging live shows.
freya’s felines
Freya’s Felines is a self-described earth-rock band that originally formed in 2017. The band members each have roots in the Dayton music scene and have been a part of several veteran acts. The variety and experience of their solo endeavors blends together perfectly in Freya’s Felines and the new stories they have to tell through music.

With unmistakable influences like 60s/70 rockers, ala Neil Young and Traffic, and more modern influences like Jack White, Colin Richards and Spare Change bring an energetic show to the stage every time! A very young Colin Richards was one of our featured acts at Tippapalooza 2015, which makes us very happy to have him back.
